Afro Dead is a musical collective formed in 2022 by Aaron Feder to reimagine Grateful Dead songs in African popular styles. The project features rotating international musicians and vocalists (notably Sia Tolno) and released a studio single, “Dark Star,” in 2024; it has toured in Europe and North America and received coverage in outlets such as Relix and Afropop Worldwide.
