Founded in 1972 by Geneviève Salbaing, Eva Von Gencsy and Eddy Toussaint, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal (BJM) is a repertory dance company that has toured internationally and presented thousands of performances. The company has commissioned works by prominent choreographers, supported emerging artists through internal creation programs, and received national recognition such as the Rideau Hommage award.
