Formed in 1995 as a side project that grew into a full band, Bane became a widely influential U.S. hardcore act with landmark releases including Give Blood (2001), The Note (2005) and Don't Wait Up (2014). The band played a widely reported final show on June 18, 2016 at the Worcester Palladium, reunited for a 2021 tribute appearance and announced reunion performances in 2023. Bane are noted for their intense live shows and long-standing influence on the melodic/hardcore scene.
