Basic's 2007 debut, Favorite Movie, rolls out rock so infectious it's straight forward garage chords seem inspired. The local trio manages to meld bouncy Sixties pop romance with early Nineties Sebadoh kick-down-the-door guitar rock, and, somehow, it’s really, really catchy. New recordings coming in '09.
