Black Duck is an instrumental trio made up of Douglas McCombs, Bill MacKay, and Charles Rumback. Their self-titled debut album was released June 23, 2023 on Thrill Jockey and was largely developed from studio improvisations. The group has performed at festivals (including Big Ears) and released official music videos such as "Second Guess."
