Black Violin is a duo of classically trained string players Kev Marcus (violin) and Wil Baptiste (viola) who formed while in high school in Fort Lauderdale. They have toured internationally, performed with artists such as Alicia Keys and opened for acts like the Wu-Tang Clan, earned Grammy nominations, and played at the 2013 Kids' Inaugural Concert. The pair also co-founded the Black Violin Foundation, delivering music education and outreach to tens of thousands of students annually.
