Formed in 2013 by Nathan Thoen and Spencer Chilliak, Bombargo expanded into a seven-piece touring band noted for high-energy live shows. Their 2018 single "Oxygen" reached No. 41 on the Billboard Canada Hot AC chart and Taylor Swift added their song "Mr. No Good" to her "Songs Taylor Loves" Spotify playlist. They made their U.S. touring debut in September 2019 and supported Michael Franti on his 2024 Togetherness Tour.
