Braince is a Chicago-based bass-and-drums duo (Dane Wilson and Sam Nagatani) who self-released their debut full-length, BRAINCE, on July 27, 2025. The record and subsequent shows drew attention on Bandcamp and underground press for its noisy, punk-influenced attack and comparisons to Lightning Bolt and no-wave/post-hardcore acts. The band has been active on the Chicago DIY circuit through 2025–2026.
