Formed in 2012, Camping in Alaska self-released their debut please be nice in 2013; the track "C U in da Ballpit" became an online cult favorite and helped build the band's profile. They released several follow-ups (including BATHE and WELCOME HOME SON), underwent a hiatus tied to substance issues, and returned with new releases and touring activity in 2022–2024.
