Eli Winter is a self-taught guitarist, composer, and essayist who has released multiple LPs on labels including Three Lobed and American Dreams, with a self-titled album in August 2022 and A Trick of the Light in May 2025. He has performed at major festivals such as Primavera Sound and Big Ears and received honors including a 2025 Ucross Fellowship in Music Composition, a 2021 Luminarts Fellowship in Creative Writing, and the David Blair McLaughlin Prize in Nonfiction.
