Evergrey formed in the early 1990s under frontman Tom S. Englund and have released a long-running catalogue of albums and toured extensively, signing to labels including Napalm Records. Elvenking formed in 1997 in Sacile, Italy, and have built an international profile through a string of studio albums and festival/touring appearances combining traditional instrumentation with metal; both bands remain active on the festival and touring circuit.
