Friendship formed in 2015 and is led by songwriter Dan Wriggins; the band’s lineup includes Michael Cormier-O'Leary, Peter Gill, and Jon Samuels. They have released multiple LPs — You're Going to Have to Trust Me (2015), Shock Out of Season (2017), Dreamin' (2019), Love the Stranger (2022) on Merge Records, and Caveman Wakes Up (2025) — and have been covered by outlets including Stereogum and Pitchfork. The group has released music on Burst & Bloom, Sleeper, Orindal and Merge and toured across North America and Europe.
