Formed in 2011, the band originally performed as Girl Band and announced a name change to Gilla Band in November 2021. They released Holding Hands With Jamie (2015), The Talkies (2019) and Most Normal (2022), signed with Rough Trade early in their career, and have received widespread critical praise and increased international touring.
