Henry Carpender is a Chicago-based trombonist, composer, and educator who holds a B.M. in Classical Trombone from the Eastman School of Music and an M.M. in Jazz Studies from DePaul University. He released his debut album "but its source" (August 1, 2025), leads regular ensembles and residencies in the Chicagoland jazz scene, and has appeared onstage with groups including the Canadian Brass and Robbie Fulks.
