About
Founded in 2005, JACK Quartet is a New York–based string quartet devoted to commissioning, premiering, and performing music by 20th- and 21st-century composers. They tour internationally, maintain a prolific recording and commissioning profile, and have held residency and teaching roles at New York institutions. JACK Quartet has received major honors including an Avery Fisher Career Grant, Musical America’s Ensemble of the Year recognition, and multiple GRAMMY nominations.
