About
Born to a Liberian family, Joey J. Saye taught himself guitar as a child and began performing publicly in his mid-teens, eventually earning a recurring residency at Rosa’s Lounge. He was selected as a 2021 Make a Wave artist by 3Arts, self-released the EP World of Trouble (2021), and has appeared at festivals and on international tours including Lucerne and the Chicago Blues Festival.
