Karen Ouzounian is a GRAMMY®-nominated cellist and composer who champions contemporary and cross-cultural repertoire. She was the founding cellist of the Aizuri Quartet for 11 years, performs with the Silkroad Ensemble and The Knights, and has premiered concertos by Lembit Beecher and Anna Clyne. Ouzounian has appeared as a soloist at major venues including Carnegie Hall and the Elbphilharmonie.
