Kari Watson (b. 1998) is a composer, performer, and intermedia artist whose work has been presented at festivals and venues including the Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Ravinia, Ear Taxi Festival, and New Music Gathering. They received the 2023 Kranichstein Music Prize for Composition, a 2022 Charles Ives Scholarship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and were highlighted by The Washington Post as one of the 23 composers/performers to watch in 2023.
