About
Kitship is the solo project of songwriter Amaya Peña, who moved from Minneapolis to Chicago in 2023. Peña released the album "am i a rock?" in March 2026 and appears on the Red Xerox compilation documenting Chicago’s youth DIY scene. Kitship has played Chicago venues including the Hideout and Empty Bottle and remains active in the local indie community.
