KK's Priest was formed in 2019 by guitarist K. K. Downing with vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens and other musicians. Their debut album, Sermons of the Sinner, was released on October 1, 2021, followed by The Sinner Rides Again on September 29, 2023.
