Kontravoid is the solo recording/performance alias of Canadian musician Cameron (Cam) Findlay. Findlay was formerly a drummer for Crystal Castles and a founding member/co-producer of synthpop band Parallels; his self-titled debut LP was released in 2012 and he opened for Crystal Castles on their 2012 North American tour. Kontravoid has released follow-up records (including Faceless and Detachment) and has toured internationally, working with labels such as Artoffact and releasing music on Bandcamp.
