Formed in 1964 by brothers Robert 'Kool' Bell and Ronald Bell, the group evolved from jazz-influenced beginnings to mainstream success in the 1970s–80s with enduring hits such as 'Jungle Boogie', 'Ladies' Night', and 'Celebration'.
