About
Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán was founded in 1965 by members of the Martínez family and grew into one of Mexico’s prominent mariachi ensembles. The group has toured internationally and performed at major festivals and venues (including the Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi, Mariachi USA/Hollywood Bowl and recent Mariachazo tours). They also participate in educational workshops and collaborations with prominent artists and orchestras.
