Midrift formed in 2022 as a trio featuring Gus Mehrkam alongside siblings Manoa and Kai Neukermans. They broke out via viral attention on social platforms, released a self-titled EP in 2022, toured the U.S. and Europe, and issued their debut album Silhouette on June 5, 2026.
