Founded in 1996 by José Luis Terrazas in Chicago, the group helped popularize the pasito duranguense dance and sound. Their 2003 album De Durango a Chicago debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, and the group won a Billboard Award for Album of the Year for Borrón y Cuenta Nueva in 2007. They have maintained a long touring presence across the U.S., Mexico and Central America.
