Reaping Asmodeia

Unrelenting. Uncompromising. Unstoppable. From the ashes of various now defunct Minnesota bands, comes a new blood to the Twin Cities metal arena: Reaping Asmodeia. In a genre that is defined by over-saturation and brainless musical structures, they vow to step up and set themselves aside from the trend of cookie cutter metal bands and typical over use of open chords. While most bands follow one route; either technically inclined music and a bland and lifeless live show or vice versa, these Minnesota winter-bred metallers inject into their performance exactly what they want their music to convey: intensity, anger, and pure emotion. Through both their music and live performance, this machine is here to prove a very blunt point...that you do not have to follow trends to turn heads. Debut album, Poison Of The Earth, mixed & mastered by Zack Ohren, set to be released in early 2013. Recently featured on industry website metalinsider.net, as part of their “Unsigned & Streamed” column. Completed 7 regional tours (200+ shows) in the past two years, playing in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Kentucky & Arkansas. Played locally and regionally with national headliners such as Veil Of Maya, After The Burial, and The Contortionist.
