Rosa María López Cortés (born 14 January 1981) rose to fame after winning the first season of Operación Triunfo (2001) and represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 with "Europe's Living a Celebration," finishing 7th. Her debut album Rosa was a major commercial success in Spain and she has since received multiple awards and regional honors, selling over a million records and earning several platinum certifications.
