About
Formed by seasoned session musicians, Sababa 5 released a self-titled debut LP in 2022 and followed with Aspan (2023) and Kokoro (2024). Their single "Tokyo Midnight/Nasnusa" (featuring Yurika Hanashima) received support from DJs including Gilles Peterson and airplay on stations such as BBC 6 Music and Radio Nova. The band has toured extensively across Europe and releases music on Batov Records and Bandcamp.
