Scout Gillett moved to Brooklyn in 2017 and became active in the DIY scene before focusing on a solo career. She signed to Captured Tracks and released the EP one to ten and her debut LP no roof no floor (released October 28, 2022). Gillett has toured internationally and runs the independent touring company Road Dog Booking.
