Started in 1992 with a name change from State of Emergency which started in 1985. John Mark has known Mitch Goldman since kindergarten. Jim, Chris and John Mark were the three piece Ska band which was State of Emergency. Link has been in Skapone since 1992 and Jason since 1995. Skapone put out three CDs over the years and has been on countless Ska compilations released by Moon Records and Jump Up Records.
