Started by vocalist/guitarist Kasha Souter Willett in 2023 and expanded to a four-piece in May 2024, Starling released the compilation EP 2324 in September 2024. The band issued the EP Forgive Me on June 27, 2025 via Sunday Drive Records and has played West Coast dates supporting contemporaries like Glixen. Starling record and mix DIY-style in sheds, apartments and garages and list Kasha Souter Willett, Erik Sathrum Johnson, Gitai Vinshtok and Grace Rolek as members.
