About
Vibraphonist and composer Thaddeus Tukes graduated from Northwestern University and founded a performance and social-justice advocacy ensemble. He was named a 2024 DownBeat Magazine “Rising Star” and has performed at events including World Expo 2020 (Dubai), Carnegie Hall, Symphony Center, and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Tukes directs youth jazz education programs, gives masterclasses nationwide, and is pursuing a master's degree in music therapy.
