Formed in 2003, The Academy Is... released their debut album Almost Here in 2005 and followed with Santi (2007) and Fast Times at Barrington High (2008). The band officially split in 2011, reunited for Riot Fest in 2015, and have toured and released new material again in the 2020s, including the 2026 album Almost There.
