John Dokes is a baritone jazz vocalist who first recorded a big-band album in 2010 and has released subsequent albums including Forever Reasons (2017) and True Love (2019). He has received praise in outlets such as DownBeat and All About Jazz, is active on the contemporary big-band performance circuit, and was a former Lindy Hop champion mentored by Dawn Hampton.
