The Palmer Squares are a lyrical and poetic hip-hop duo out of Chicago, IL. They formed as The Palmer Squares in 2010 after moving into an apartment together in Palmer Square Park. Growing up, Term & Acumental shared a mutual love for comedy, film, and music of all forms. In high school, they started a hobby of rapping. Over the years of pushing grungey one-take rap videos, things began to catch on via YouTube in 2011. The Palmer Squares left Chicago to meet some friends in Los Angeles for the first time in 2012, and returned in 2015. They have remained touring the USA & Canada extensively since 2017, sharing the stage with artists such as Ces Cru, Big Wax (and occasionally his twin brother Herbal T), and Cryptic Wisdom. They have self released a number of albums and EPs with producers such as Nate Kiz, Drew Mantia, and D.R.O. Most recently in October of 2018, they collaborated on an album with ProbCause titled Junkyard Samurai.
