The Tear Garden began as a collaboration between Edward Ka?Spel and cEvin Key in the mid?1980s. They released the EP The Tear Garden (1986) and the debut album Tired Eyes Slowly Burning (1987) and have issued multiple albums and rarities collections since. Historically a studio project that rarely performed live, plans for the first official Tear Garden live performances were announced in 2026.
