Formed by Daniel Elliott and Ben Marshall and later expanded into a six-piece with Beth Plumb, Sam Teather, Ryan Debling and Graham Nunn, Tokyo Tea Room emerged from the Kent scene. They released the album No Rush in January 2025, have received BBC Introducing support and editorial Spotify playlist placements, and have shared bills with established UK indie acts.
