Formed in 1989, Ugly Kid Joe broke through in the early 1990s with the EP As Ugly as They Wanna Be and the hit single "Everything About You", plus a popular cover of "Cats in the Cradle". Their 1992 album America's Least Wanted was commercially successful (double-platinum in the U.S.); the band split in 1997, reunited in 2010, and released new studio albums in 2015 and 2022.
