Formed in 2001 by Pete Swanson and Gabriel Mindel Saloman, Yellow Swans released a large body of DIY CDRs, tapes and albums before announcing their split in April 2008. The duo later curated archival reissues on Bandcamp beginning around 2020 and resumed live activity with reunion performances starting in 2023.
