Flock Club: Field Day

Date: Thursday, August 20, 2026 Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Location: Horner Park, 2741 W Montrose Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 Join us for this latest edition of Flock Club!, the social gathering by and for bird enthusiasts. This month’s gathering will be taking place at Horner Park for a field day! This will be a casual hangout where you can meet other birders and play outdoor games. Maybe we’ll keep an eBird list going for incidental observations. Bring a snack and/or drinks and a field game if you’d like. Stop by at any time. The event is free to attend. Flock Club is the regular social event where bird enthusiasts of all walks of life gather to share our passion for birds in a casual environment. With each gathering featuring a new location, theme, games, food, and good company, there's a place for everyone in our Flock Club. All are welcome to this free event regardless of birding experience level, membership status, or personal background. Location and Transportation: Free parking is available in the lot off California Ave. The park is accessible by public transit via the 93 (California), the 78 (Montrose), and 80 (Irving Park) bus routes.
