Flow Fest Chicago returns to Ping Tom Memorial Park, transforming one of the city's most scenic riverfront spaces into a full day of movement, creativity, and community.
Celebrating its 8th year, the festival welcomes everyone to explore the park, connect with fellow flowmies, and enjoy the jams and sunset performances for free. Ready to dive deeper? An All Access Pass ($35 pre-sale, $50 day-of) unlocks more than 30 workshops spanning flow arts, dance, movement, and yoga, with up to five classes happening at once. Whether you're picking up a hoop for the first time or fine-tuning your staff spinning, there's always something new to learn.
This year's Symbiotic theme shines a spotlight on the connection between flow arts and authentic Chinese cultural traditions, featuring an expanded lineup of rope dart, dragon dance, and dragon poi workshops alongside favorites like hoop dance, juggling, poi, flow star, and staff spinning.
Presented with support from Chicago Full Moon Jam, Flow Collective Chicago, Fun In Motion Toys, flowtoys, and Astral Hoops, Flow Fest makes the most of its stunning waterfront setting, where Chicago's skyline and the Chicago River create the perfect backdrop for every spin, toss, and performance. Come for the atmosphere, stay for the skills, and leave inspired.
