Join us for a special release of Brutalist Brewing's latest release "Dekalog"
The beer is a belgian red called Dekalog both because it's roughly the tenth unique beer Brutalist has brewed and also in reference to Kieslowski's TV series of the same name.
To mark the occasion they're teaming up with two heavy-hitting bands:
**Mute Form** started in earnest in late 2023 as a collaboration looking for ways to make music that operates outside of the structure of a traditional rock band setup with instruments familiar to the formula. While the distinction is subtle, the idea of an amorphous project designed around a few consistent pieces was and is an appealing way for this project to function.
**Krill** was formed in Boston in 2010, and released three albums of strange, grungy, and sometimes catchy songs — Alam No Hris, Lucky Leaves, and A Distant Fist Unclenching — before playing their final-ish show in Brooklyn in 2015. They released another album in 2020 under the name Knot, but now that's a Krill album, too, because it's easier that way. Now Krill is a trio based in Chicago, where all the members grew up, and is comprised of songwriter Jonah Furman, longtime drummer Ian Becker, and new guitarist Andrew Clinkman. In late July, the band released the single "Commemorative Plaque," their first new music in six years.
