Memory Enrichment

Memory Enrichment at Lincoln Park Zoo is a welcoming program for people living with dementia and their loved ones and care partners. Socialize with friends of all ages and explore wildlife and nature with zoo staff. Activities include crafts, games, animal chats, music, low-impact movement, and more. This is a free program, but guests must register ahead of time. Space is limited. Loved ones and care partners are required to stay for the duration of the program. Memory Enrichment is intended to be beneficial for all guests. There is a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 attendees per reservation. Memory Enrichment takes place the third Friday of each month (except July and August) from 10:15–11:15 a.m. at Lincoln Park Zoo. Getting Here Paid parking is available at the zoo’s parking lot located at Fullerton Parkway and Cannon Drive (2300 N. Cannon Drive). The zoo is also accessible by train via the Armitage and Fullerton stations and by bus via the 22, 36, 151, and 156 routes. Additional parking and transportation details can be found here. Check out the Zoo Map. There is no smoking at Lincoln Park Zoo for the health of the animals in our care. Pets are not allowed at the zoo, but licensed service animals are welcome.
