Back of the Yards Branch of Chicago Public Library is a full-service neighborhood library that opened on August 26, 2013, co-located with Back of the Yards College Preparatory High School at 2111 W. 47th St. It offers bilingual collections, a YOUmedia teen space, and two public meeting rooms that host regular community programs and events. Situated along the 47th Street commercial corridor, it serves as a community hub within the Back of the Yards/New City area.
