Located just off of the Damen, Milwaukee and North Ave intersection, in the heart of Wicker Park, the Chop Shop brings together some of Chicago’s favorite things: encased meats, craft beers, cocktails, and live entertainment. Housed in a 100-year-old former auto body shop, the Chop Shop boasts an authentic salumeria and gourmet butcher shop offering an assortment of quality meats & cheeses from local farms around the world. A stroll to the back of the building reveals a 6,000 sq. ft. performance and event venue, highly-equipped with state of the art sound, lights and production staff - including an in-house booking and marketing department determined to make each event as unique as the building itself.
The beverage program features an extensive offering of regional beers, classic and handcrafted cocktails, and a globally influenced wine list. The restaurant/bar draws from the Chop Shop’s seasonal items to create an evolving menu including steaks, pastas, fish, and seasonal fare. Enjoy our downstairs Butcher Bar for a casual atmosphere, or join us upstairs at the Butcher’s Brother for an intimate, more refined dining experience. In warmer months, enjoy food and drinks on our rooftop patio, a neighborhood-hidden gem. Semi-private and private event options are available in all spaces for both daytime and evening events.
