North Austin Branch is a neighborhood Chicago Public Library serving the Austin community with collections, computers, and regular family and adult programs. Opened at its current location on August 5, 1995, it features public art including Gina Hartig Williams’s “Information Translocation,” and offers two bookable meeting rooms (15- and 40-person capacities). Set along the North Avenue commercial corridor, it’s a community-focused space near local shops and services.
