Rialto Square Theatre is a 1926 Rapp & Rapp–designed movie palace in downtown Joliet that was restored in 1981; today it hosts concerts, comedy, Broadway tours, and civic events. Often called the “Jewel of Joliet,” its opulent interiors anchor a walkable downtown near restaurants, Harrah’s, and the new City Square plaza across Chicago Street.
