Sulzer Regional Library is the North Side regional branch of Chicago Public Library, opened September 14, 1985 to replace the former Hild Regional Library a block away. The building houses a community auditorium used for talks, screenings, and programs (auditorium seating 200) and features public art, including six Nicholas Africano canvases in the auditorium; it anchors the Lincoln Square corridor near Welles Park with easy access to dining and shops.
