About

The Art Center Highland Park is a nonprofit community art center offering rotating exhibitions, classes, and private-event rentals on Chicago’s North Shore. Founded in 1960 as the Suburban Fine Art Center, it has operated for over two decades at 1957 Sheridan Rd in a renovated former American Legion Hall near downtown Highland Park. Its museum-quality galleries anchor a walkable district close to shops and the Metra, drawing audiences for openings, talks, and community programs.
