Vodak–East Side Branch of Chicago Public Library is a LEED?certified neighborhood library serving the East Side and South Deering communities; it opened on October 14, 2006 and is named for community leader James F. Vodak. The branch offers a public meeting room and features like a seed library, Spanish?language materials, and fishing?pole lending, alongside regular community programs.
